Parenting and Fun

In foster care we have many laws to comply with. Parenting doesn't look like it did when we raised our original children, but then children today are coming to us with many more problems than our original children did. When all is said and done, the only way to reach a child is to build a relationship - and isn't that really what we have always done? We just don't use the threats, punishments, comments and judgements we used to.
